Description

Learn more about the Louis57 Limited Edition Gift Box:

We are excited to release these special, limited wines just in time for the 150th Open Championship played at St Andrews in July 2022. The high-quality labels were hand-sketched by an artist in Cape Town, telling the story of Louis Oosthuizen’s golfing career. From playing his fantastic round of 57 at Mossel Bay GC in 2002 (becoming his “Signature” trademark), with his “Perfect Timing” swing through to his “Commemorative” Open Championship win in 2010 at St Andrews.

Learn more about Louis Oosthuizen:

Louis Oosthuizen first ventured into the field of winemaking in 2012, lending his brand name, Louis57. The range includes a handpicked range of locally produced wines – all of which Louis personally tasted and selected. The brand name Louis57 is named after his momentous achievement on the Mossel Bay Golf Course. Here Louis scored a 57, the lowest ever score recorded on the course! Each Louis57 Wine is an outstanding combination of exceptional quality and balance.

Each Louis57 wine is outstanding in terms of balance and quality, enabling it to delight even the most selective of wine connoisseurs. Louis57 wines are produced under license by Boschkloof Wines in Stellenbosch, which is owned by master winemakers and father-son duo Jacques Borman and Reenen Borman.

A real Super Saturday. Perhaps we will […]

Highs and Lows of an English Sporting Summer Lovers of English Sport are resilient if nothing else. Rock bottom only a few months ago, our cricket now rules the world and the players are being compared to rock artists. Same team though! And against a backdrop of earth-shattering incompetence by their administrators. I was […]

A week for Sporting Champions and questions of leadership   What a week for Champions in two of our major sports – and a prelude for an unprecedented summer of sport after two years of Pandemic-driven abstinence.   As a 55-year-long Man City fan, even I was stunned by that comeback. When you know […]

Simon Halliday Blog - European Rugby Scales The Heights
May 12, 2022

European Rugby Scales The Heights I feel compelled to reflect on last weekend’s European action simply because the quality of what was on offer reached a new record in my view and also there were some conclusions reached I feel are premature. I know I am biased but the adage of the European Cup […]
