Made famous internationally by the Rioja and Ribero del Duero regions for medium to full red wines, the Spanish have truly adopted the Tempranillo grape and put it to work. The weather in Cigales, where our Sporting Crianza is made, is largely dry and harsh, with low rainfall, and land usually coming cheaper than Ribero its east. It is therefore an area where one can often find hidden gems!
